Join Programmed Apprenticeships & Traineeships, in partnership with your Local Council, and kickstart a rewarding career as a Parks & Gardens Apprentice at Wilson Botanic Park.

This 4-year apprenticeship is your chance to earn while you learn, gaining hands-on experience and completing a Certificate III in Parks & Gardens — all while helping to maintain some of your local council’s most beautiful parks and open spaces, including the stunning gardens and parklands of Wilson Botanic Park.

  • Passionate about the outdoors, nature, and horticulture
  • Enjoys hands-on, physical work
  • Safety-focused and reliable
  • Holds (or working towards) a valid driver’s licence
